As Deadpool indicates the otaku, Sakura Spider recognizes him as an infamous ticket reseller. As Sakura Spider says she's happy to see he didn't kill the perp, Deadpool remarks that he can't since he's in a shonen manga and only has two pages left.

Sakura Spider arrives and is overjoyed to see that Neiro is alright, Deadpool poking fun at her bawling in relief. The otaku notes that as long as the Hydra control collar is intact he can make Neiro do whatever he wants, and that he just needs to wait for an openng to reactivate it. The otaku agrees, but internally sneers that Neiro is too soft and naive, and that he isn't even one of her fans to begin with - missing Neiro tell Deadpool that if the otaku hadn't been one of her fans she'd've happily killed him herself. As Deadpool holsters his gun, the otaku incredulously asks if they're really letting him go - Neiro gently admonishing him to stick to regular cheering from now on. As the otaku desperately nods in agreement, Deadpool rolls his eyes in disgust at the "power of friendship" cliche in shonen manga before saying he'll go along with it if that's what Neiro wants. Neiro disagrees, smiling as she says that if the otaku is really one of her fans he'll stop being evil if she asks him to. Calling Neiro a wannabe Venom, Deadpool snaps that he knows from personal experience that people like the otaku - if shown mercy - will go right back to doing depraved things. Deadpool sarcastically says that's a touching story of familial love, then opens fire on the otaku - narrowly missing - while shouting that it has nothing to do with the situation at-hand.

Summarizing, Neiro says that the more people who think she's cute the happier her mother will be, and that's why she won't let anyone hurt her fans no matter what kind of people they are. As Neiro apologized, her mother hugged her and said that part of being a parent is taking pride in other people calling their children cute, and that she's actually thankful that being unattractive makes Neiro look that much cuter in comparison. Neiro has a flashback to her childhood, where she was reduced to tears over people sneering that her mother should kill herself for being ugly while simultaneously praising Neiro's cuteness. Incredulous, Deadpool demands to know what she means by that, and Neiro explains that when she was a child she promised herself that she would forgive anything - no matter how heinous - if the perpetrator thought she was cute. Neiro says she already knows - having been able to hear everything while being controlled - but even so she forgives the otaku since his actions were motivated by her cuteness. Deadpool mocks the false concept of idols as purity incarnate before angrily informing her that the otaku intended to do unspeakable-in-a- shonen-manga things to her - preparing to shoot the otaku point-blank. Before he can attack, Neiro tells him not to hurt her fan. Turning to the incredulous otaku, Deadpool asks if he'll cry or wet himself before dying. As Neiro's symbiote retracts into her body, Deadpool scrutinizes the Hydra mind-control collar and wonders if he could get Bruce Banner to remove it. belatedly remarking that there was no point since symbiotes are mostly black anyway and color costs more to print anyway. Drawing his sword, Deadpool snaps that they're going to do a full-color spread as he lunges at Neiro and slashes her. Furious, he throws the microphone to the ground - the resulting feedback destabilizing Neiro's symbiote.
